What is Granada Solitaire?
Granada Solitaire is a two-deck solitaire card game where you try to move every card onto eight foundation piles. Four foundations build up in suit from Ace to King, while the other four build down in suit from King to Ace. It feels different from standard solitaire because the foundations work in both directions at once.
How do you play/
You move cards from the tableau to the foundations, or to the open cards at the bottom when that move matches the suit and direction. In the online version, clicking the stock deals 4 new open cards, so fresh moves appear as the board opens up. Because the rules are strict, every move matters.
How do you win?
You win by getting all cards onto the foundations. Since half the foundations build up and half build down, you need to plan each move carefully. Empty spaces and open cards matter because they control what you can reach next.
Can you build on the tableau?
No, the tableau does not get built on in the usual way. Cards only move off the tableau to the foundations or to the open cards at the bottom, if the suit and direction fit. That makes the game feel tighter and more tactical than many other solitaire variants.
