It's a game where you launch fish into the air, then try to make them skip across the ocean for as far as possible. Each round gives you three throws, and your score depends on distance, skips, and how well each fish performs. It's a light, goofy setup, but the physics give it a nice bit of bite.

How does the gameplay work?

You choose a fish, fling it across the water, and try to rack up skips, distance, and boost speed. During a round, you can tap to help build speed while collecting yellow orbs, and the game gives you three throws before the crabs hand out their score. It's quick to learn, but the timing and fish choice give it more room for skill than it first lets on.

What do the crystals and unlocks do?

Crystals are earned through missions and used to unlock costumes or craft charms that give bonus powers. Halfbrick also rebalanced the crystal unlocking system in the remastered version, so progress feels better paced. On top of that, achievements, objectives, and a storybook to unlock give you more to chase after between runs.
