What is Good Knight Story?
It's a match-3 puzzle RPG for destop computers, mobile devices, and smart tv's. You play as a knight who wakes up in a dungeon with a pounding head and no memory of the night before, then work through puzzles, fights, and story scenes to figure out what happened. The tone is light and goofy, with bad jokes, tavern encounters, and a fantasy setup that doesn't take itself too seriously.
How do you play?
You match three or more colored icons to attack enemies and build momentum in battle. The game also uses a shield system, so matching the right shield icons can block damage when an enemy is about to strike. As you move through the game, your knight levels up, gains better stats, and picks up weapons and upgrades.
Is it just a puzzle game?
It's more than a plain puzzle game. The match-3 battles are the core of the action, but the game also adds RPG-style progression, enemy weaknesses, and story scenes that unfold as you clear levels.
