99 Nights in the Forest

99 Nights in the Forest is a scary multiplayer horror game where you and your friends fight to stay alive in a pitch-black forest. Each night, a strange deer-like monster comes out to hunt, and its heavy steps and roar carry through the trees.
You only have 99 days to rescue the missing boys and make it out. To survive, use the workbench to make weapons, flashlights, and other supplies. Also, cook food in a cauldron so you can keep your strength up.
Meanwhile, you'll need to search the woods, collect resources, and build shelters before darkness falls again. Do whatever it takes to last one more night. Still, don't get too comfortable, because the monster never rests, and it grows more dangerous as the nights pass.

â 99 Nights in the Forest: FAQs for Players
What is 99 Nights in the Forest?
How do you play 99 Nights in the Forest?
At night, the vibe shifts from "shopping trip" to "home invasion." Staying near camp matters because the camp barrier blocks certain threats, and the campfire helps you see and stay safer. Monsters attack more aggressively when players are outside the safe zone, so nighttime usually becomes a teamwork test: who keeps the fire fed, who watches for incoming enemies, and who's out there risking it for loot.
Progression also comes from pushing into tougher areas and surviving harder raids. As nights pass, you'll deal with stronger enemies and more chaos, so early efficiency (fuel, food, and gear) pays off later.
What are the monsters and enemies?
The Owl: A flying enemy reported to appear after around night 5, and it can attack while you're doing noisy work like chopping trees. A flashlight is commonly recommended against it.
Cultists: Raider-style enemies that can attack your camp in groups, steal items, and cause bigger problems. Some use crossbows, and players often prioritize those first.
Wildlife and biome enemies: Wolves, bears, and other creatures can be part of the danger, depending on where you roam.
What platforms can you play it on
You can play with friends or with random players. Either way, teamwork helps, but it's not always peaceful. Public lobbies can include chaos agents who ignore the plan, waste resources, or generally treat "protect the kids" like an optional side quest. If you want a smoother run, bring a squad, assign roles, and agree on one rule, nobody goes wandering at night without a plan.
