What is Xonix 3D
A 3D take on the classic Xonix-style arcade idea. You move over a field, draw a line to “fence off” space, then close the shape to claim that area. Do that until you’ve claimed enough of the board to clear the level, while enemies bounce around trying to ruin your day.
How do you actually win a level?
It requires you to claim a target percentage of the playfield (often around 75 to 80 percent). You start from the safe border, push into the open space to draw a trail, then reconnect to safety to lock in the captured area.
Any quick tips?
Make small cuts early. It’s safer and it builds space. Once the board feels less crowded, start taking bigger bites.
Also, don’t draw long trails right next to an enemy unless you enjoy stress.

How do you lose a life
An enemy hits you while you’re out in the open.
An enemy hits your unfinished trail before you close it.
You hit a hazard (many versions add mines or other traps).
You run out of time (a lot of levels have a timer).

Is Xonix related to Qix?
Yes, they share the same core concept, “area cutting,” where you draw lines to capture territory while dodging enemies.
